October Events

For awareness events in October, we will have social media posts for the following:

  • October National Dental Hygiene Month

  • October Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Awareness Month

  • October 12-20 Bone and Joint Action Week

  • October 17-24 National Pharmacy Week

  • October 23-31 Red Ribbon Week

  • October 24-30 Respiratory Care Week

  • October 29 World Stroke Day

  • October 31 Halloween

Our goal is to bring awareness not only to these special days, but also to show how tobacco plays a roll in each of these events. If you are a tobacco user, it is apart of you. We hope to bring this to the forefront of people’s minds and increase normal conversation about how we can help people quit. Delaware County has several amazing programs geared towards helping people quit their nicotine addiction and live healthier.
